Alejandro Garnacho Transfer News

Alejandro Garnacho Saga: Manchester United have managed to win just one of their last six Premier League matches and have remained stuck in 13th place for quite some time now.

Despite this, the Red Devils have not invested heavily in improving the squad, as they need to make sales first.

Several players are rumoured to be leaving Man United, including Alejandro Garnacho.

The Old Trafford club was initially asking for a fee of 70 million euros to let the Argentine international go. However, recent reports suggest they are now willing to negotiate for a lower price.

According to today’s report from Corriere del Mezzogiorno, Manchester United and Napoli are ‘close’ to finalizing a deal for Alejandro Garnacho in the upcoming winter transfer window.

The 20-time English champions have lowered their asking price to £50.6 million (60 million euros), while Napoli has upped their offer to 50 million euros.

This brings the gap down to just 10 million euros, and the Italian news outlet claims that the recent meeting regarding the South American player was ‘fruitful,’ with optimism that the ‘deal will happen.’

Although Chelsea is also in the running, Garnacho has already expressed his willingness to move to Napoli, who are eager to finalize an agreement with Manchester United.

So far this season, the 20-year-old forward has appeared in 32 matches for the Red Devils across all competitions, directly contributing to 13 goals (8 goals and 5 assists).

However, in the last 10 Premier League games, the eight-capped international has neither scored nor assisted for United. Therefore, it’s understandable that Ruben Amorim is keen to sell him.

Stay tuned for the latest updates on this transfer saga.
