Milos Kerkez, Manchester United target

Milos Kerkez, a 21-years old Hungarian left-back who is temporarily playing for the English team of AFC Bournemouth has quickly become one of the most valued players at the European football leagues.

Many records he has set in the premier league have triggered interests from a number of top teams such as Manchester united and Real Madrid.

Manchester United’s Interest In Milos Kerkez

Manchester United has been keenly following Kerkez’s career mainly because he can boost the team’s left-back division.

The Sunday standard claims that the club is targeting the young defender with an intention of strengthening the defence line. However, the continuing injury problems of Luke Shaw keep United in competition with other top teams.

Real Madrid’s Pursuit For Milos Kerkez

Real Madrid has joined the bandwagon in the pursuit of Milos Kerkez with the side believing that the player will add value as a defensive player in their team.

The club has interest in strengthening the left back positions which has been a worry for Ferland Mendy and Fran García’s poor performance most of the times. The tactical flexibility and positional solidity that Kerkez has exhibited all season have prompted the Spanish giants to take an interest in him.

Performance Ratings of Kerkez

Bournemouth signed Kerkez in July 2023, and till date, he has improved greatly and has one goal and three assists in close to 50 appearances.

His ability to track back and attack at the same time has made him one of the best players in the Premier League. Of course, he has not remained unnoticed and several European clubs have already taken their interest in the player.

Milos Kerkez Contract Status at Bournemouth

His current contract runs with Bournemouth until 2028, and so they would be the one to decide on a transfer fee for Kerkez.

The current contract status complicates the loop of transfer negotiations, although it is apparent that teams interested in the player will have to part with a reasonable amount for him to sign for any of them.

This will mean that the highest bidder will win at the end of the day, in as much as Bournemouth agrees with the transfer fee.

Speculation still surrounds Milos Kerkez as January transfer window draws near. Manchester United and Real Madrid are some of the teams interested in signing him because he would help improve the teams’ backlines.

It is a big challenge for Bournemouth to keep their young talents whom have attracted interests from so many big clubs. The following months will reveal Kerkez’s next step in his steadily progressing football career.
