Mainoo and Garnacho Transfer News

Manchester United’s two youngsters, Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho have been reportedly labelled as unbreakable, hence causing transfer speculation around the two young stars.

According to Score News, Chelsea has been keeping track of Mainoo’s situation waiting for Manchester United to reach a logjam concerning the midfielder’s contract.

Despite this uncertainty, Mainoo is committed to his future at Old Trafford until 2027, an additional year option; consequently, United have the advantage in recent negotiations.

While that is going on, Garnacho has attracted the attention of Serie A leaders Napoli who are expected to lose Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

According to an Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla, Napoli is already in the process of planning the transfer of the Argentine winger to Naples.

Will Kobbie Mainoo And Garnacho Eventually Leave Man United?

United have proudly rated Garnacho at around £42m – an uplift from the £420,000 fee they spent on acquiring him from Atletico Madrid’s youth academy in 2020.

Having been coached by Ruben Amorim, Garnacho has remained a substitute for much of this season because Amad Diallo has been playing incredibly well.

But he did exceptionally well in United’s FA Cup clash against Arsenal by deputizing for Diallo. Garnacho set up Bruno Fernandes’ opener with some sharp attacking play and showcased his all-around abilities with impressive stats.

He has 100 per cent aerials won, 100 per cent shooting accuracy, passing accuracy of 85 per cent, eight tackling and nine interventions, as well as a big chance.

Statman Dave said that Garnacho played what could be described as a proper shift when narrating the young forward’s performance.

Whether this display will see him start in Thursday’s Premier League match against Southampton is still in doubt. It has probably provided Amorim rationale to rethink any intentions to leave one of the club’s most promising attacking assets.
