Victor Osimhen Transfer News

The transfer saga involving Victor Osimhen is yet one of the most interesting stories in football, with renewed speculation about his future intensifying an interest in him from Europe’s top clubs.

After one summer when both Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain seemed set on acquiring his services, the Nigerian striker has ended up at the Turkish side of Galatasaray, where he has brought back his A-game once again.

However, after a transfer move to Chelsea did not happen after the agreement breakdown, Osimhen has been outstanding at Galatasaray in Turkey.

Victor Osimhen this season, in just 15 games, the 25-year-old has scored 12 goals and 5 assists, making him one of the most effective forwards in Europe. As expected, this has placed him back on the list of several European top clubs.

According to Tuttomercatoweb sources, Osimhen’s release clause is currently at €80m in January and could be further reduced to €70m when the summer transfer window comes.

Top Teams Battle For Victor Osimhen

Subsequently, RMC Sport has disclosed that the French side, PSG has shafted contact with the forward once again. Osimhen is aware of the interest from the clubs but is said to be happy in Turkey where he has been treated well and is always in the team.

Premier League clubs Arsenal and Chelsea are also reportedly interested in the player as reported by CaughtOffside. The two London clubs—Arsenal and Chelsea—could him as reinforcement upfront, and Osimhen has been on the radar.

To many people’s surprise, Manchester United has been said to have been offered the opportunity to sign Osimhen.

As previously reported by TBR Football, intermediaries have contacted United intending to sign the deal. However, the club is stated to be reluctant to accommodate a straight £60 million bid. Napoli, for their part, is willing to indulge in some terms, such as exchange deals.

Napoli are said to have their eyes on three United attackers: Rasmus Højlund, the former Atalanta defender now at Old Trafford; Joshua Zirkzee, the man familiar with Serie A and its goal-scoring tradition; and Marcus Rashford.

With competition for the player and a potential reduction in his release clause, another thrilling transfer window is likely in Osimhen’s future.
