Is Mohamed Salah Far Away From New Contract? Despite scoring a superb goal in the 5-0 over West Ham which takes Liverpool to eight points clear at the top of the English Premier League, Mohamed Salah confessed that his future with the club is still in doubt.
The 32-year-old Salah netted once and created two other goals, but he took a swipe at the current status of his contract renewal that expires at the end of June this year.
From the beginning of the new year, Salah is eligible to sign for other clubs apart from the English Premier League for a free transfer in the summer.
Likewise, the Anfield icons Van Dijk and Alexander-Arnold will be playing the last half a year of their current deals, thus stoking uncertainty.
However, there is no vagueness about the future as Salah continues to work on ensuring the Liverpool team wins the next Premier League season.
Mohamed Salah Is Far Away From Renewing At Liverpool
Mohamed Salah thinks he is still very far from solving his future, he said that it means that negotiations about a new deal are not very active.
No we are far away from that [contract] and I don’t want to put anything in the media.
“The only thing on my mind is I want Liverpool to win the league and I want to be part of that, Mohamed Salah said.
AC Milan manager Arne Slot gave short shrift to questions regarding the trio and their capacity to negotiate with overseas clubs starting from January 1.
Arne Slot said he doesn’t have a say in what happens to them,” Slot said.
I think I have a lot of control over what they do.
“If they’re on a training pitch, if they’re in a meeting with me, but talking about the private lives, I don’t have control about them
Responding to questions about interest in potential reinforcements in January, Slot stated that he is satisfied with the current team, which means there are no plans to spend money on new transfers.
For now, though, Liverpool’s priorities easily lie in continuing to dominate throughout the current campaign.
