David Moyes has described Mohammed Kudus as Tottenham Hotspur’s standout signing of the summer transfer window, hailing the Ghanaian’s strength, versatility, and impact since arriving from West Ham.
Kudus completed a £55 million switch to Spurs in July and has quickly settled under manager Thomas Frank.
The 24-year-old has already scored once and provided four assists in 12 appearances, becoming a key figure in Tottenham’s evolving attack.
Spurs signed eight players during the summer, including Xavi Simons, Randal Kolo Muani, and Mathys Tel. Yet Moyes believes Kudus has made the biggest impression, calling him “unplayable” at times.
“Mohammed Kudus looks like their best buy of the summer”
Speaking about his former player, whom he signed from Ajax for £38 million in 2023, the Everton boss was full of admiration.

“He has great strength and balance. You can’t knock him off the ball. He can play inside or outside, in several positions if needed,” Moyes said.
“He’s just finding his form at Tottenham, and I see him scoring or creating goals regularly. From a distance, he looks like their best buy of the summer.”
Kudus’ adaptability and direct style have already made him a fan favourite in North London. His ability to glide past defenders and link up with Simons and Kolo Muani has added dynamism to Spurs’ attack.
With the season still young, Tottenham supporters will hope Kudus continues his impressive rise — and proves Moyes right that he was indeed the signing of the summer.
