Marcus Rashford Future In Doubt At Manchester United: Could He Make A Shock Transfer To Arsenal ?

Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford has been tipped for a big move away from the club, with United supposedly open to offers for the forward at 27 years old.

As reported in the Telegraph the United management was willing to let go of Rashford during the summer transfer window, but particularly this coming January winter window, however no offer yet.

Rashford who came up through the United youth ranks has been a mainstay in United’s team for quite some time now. However, he has had a rather quiet period of last games and seasons and thus raises question if he is still relevant to the development of the club.

Last season, Rashford managed to have 7 goals, 2 assists in the EPL, and this ongoing season, he’s on 4 goals and 1 assist after 15 EPL matches.

Rashford without doubt has the quality to play for United but maybe United is looking into whether it makes more sense to invest the money realised from the player back into other areas of the team.

Arsenal, Chelsea Are Both Interested In Marcus Rashford

Two of the top EPL clubs are interested in Rashford, and they include Arsenal and Chelsea. That Arsenal have an interest in Marcus was no news, especially as some papers mentioned during the summer that Mikel Arteta had spoken to the forward about a possible move to the Emirates.

Chelsea were also one of the teams that harbored interest but did not make any move by signing potential talents such as Pedro Neto and Jadon Sancho.

The question arising here is whether Manchester United should take steps to seek for a sale at the next few months. On the one hand, Rashford still possesses a high value as a footballer and a marketable personality.

However, if doubts about his future persist, the club may face a pivotal decision: in order to support the forward and ensure that his career continues and he finds success at Old Trafford once again or to let him go and start a new chapter in another club.
