Kenan Yildiz Transfer News

Manchester United have reportedly made Juventus sensation Kenan Yildiz their top attacking target for 2026, as per Caught Offside.

The Red Devils are said to be “huge admirers” of the Turkish forward and are preparing to go head-to-head with Chelsea and Arsenal for his signature.

United’s new attacking rebuild

Following a major summer overhaul, United’s attacking options have taken a different shape under Ruben Amorim.

The club sanctioned the exits of Marcus Rashford, Antony, Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, and Rasmus Hojlund, and instead brought in Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo, and Benjamin Sesko to lead the new frontline.

However, those moves have left the Red Devils short in the wide positions. While Amorim’s fluid attacking system can adapt, the lack of natural wingers could become an issue next season if United qualify for European competition.

That has reportedly pushed the club to target a marquee wide forward — with Yildiz at the top of their shortlist.

Yildiz to Manchester United?

The 20-year-old Turkish international has been one of Serie A’s standout young talents since breaking into Juventus’ first team. Known for his flair, versatility, and ability to glide past defenders,

Yildiz has drawn comparisons to a young Paulo Dybala, combining close control with an eye for goal.

Caught Offside claims that Manchester United are ready to test Juventus’ resolve with a staggering £78 million offer next summer.

The Italian giants are, however, reluctant to sell and are instead working on a contract extension that would keep Yildiz at the Allianz Stadium beyond 2029.

At present, Yildiz has given no public indication of wanting to leave Turin, but the pull of the Premier League and the chance to play under Amorim could prove tempting.

United’s new project and attacking style may suit his skill set perfectly.

Chelsea and Arsenal also in pursuit

United’s biggest competition could come from within England. Chelsea and Arsenal have both shown serious interest in the forward.

Chelsea, who recently added Alejandro Garnacho and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens to their squad, remain short on experienced wide players. Enzo Maresca is said to be pushing for another proven option to balance the youthful front line.

Arsenal, on the other hand, see Yildiz as a potential long-term replacement for Gabriel Martinelli or Bukayo Saka, offering more tactical flexibility in their attacking rotations.

Juventus’ stance and the player’s future

Juventus view Yildiz as central to their rebuild and are keen to fend off suitors by offering an improved deal. His rapid progress under Massimiliano Allegri and continued importance under Thiago Motta have made him a key figure in their plans.

Still, Premier League money and the growing appeal of English football could change the equation. United’s reported £78m bid would put heavy pressure on Juventus, especially if the player expresses a desire to explore a new challenge.

The road ahead

Kenan Yildiz’s rise has made him one of Europe’s most coveted young attackers. Manchester United’s determination to secure him underlines their commitment to rebuilding a dynamic, youthful attack capable of competing on all fronts.

Whether he ends up at Old Trafford, Stamford Bridge, or remains in Turin, Yildiz looks set to be one of the defining transfer stories of 2026.
