Liverpool Target Real Madrid’s Rodrygo As Potential Mo Salah Successor Next Summer

Liverpool football club are getting ready to potentially lose their star left winger Mo Salah, who has been rumoured to be departing Liverpool at the end of the current 2024/2025 football season. Mo Salah has also been rumoured to want a move to the Saudi pro league, where he will be linking up with former Liverpool teammate Sadio Mane and a host of other former premier league players who had earlier made a switch.

In preparation for the departure of one of their most successful player, Liverpool have set their sight on Real Madrid’s 23 years old Brazilian winger Rodrygo, Liverpool sees Rodrygo as a perfect replacement for the Egyptian, and are rumoured to be willing to break the bank to bring Rodrygo to Anfield. According to sources, Liverpool are willing to pay a fee of $111m (£83m/€100m) in order to bring Rodrygo to Liverpool.

Rodrygo in question has made his decision known, that he is not interested in a move to Liverpool. Rodrygo who was also Rumoured to signing for Liverpool even before he made his move to Real Madrid from Santos, but declined the move to Liverpool, preferring to remain in Santos before a move to Real Madrid was facilitated two years later, and up till now, Rodrygo still has no interest in coming to Liverpool.

Rodrygo still has four years left in his Real Madrid contract, with a salary of $267k (£202k/€240k) weekly in his Real Madrid, he obviously has the opportunity to earn more on a weekly basis if he eventually makes the move to Liverpool in the summer.
