Liverpool Eye January Swoop For Real Sociedad Star Martín Zubimendi

English premier league side Liverpool are back again in the pursuit for Martin Zubimendi and could be ready to make another move for the Spanish midfielder in January, when the January transfer window opens.

Recall that Liverpool had made a move for Martin Zubimendi in the summer, but the Spanish midfielder opted to stay out with Real Sociedad for another season, prompting the reds to withdraw their interest in the midfielder.

According to transfer news journalist Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool we’re ready and willing to activate Martin Zubimendi’s release clause of €60m, and also had agreed personal terms with the player, but Zubimendi had a last minute change of mind to remain in Spain.

Liverpool have not opted to sign any other midfielder after missing out on bringing Martin Zubimendi to Anfield, but are still holding out on signing Martin Zubimendi, which we will most likely see in the January transfer window like i mentioned earlier or in the summer transfer window at the end of the current season.
