Casemiro Transfer News

Cristiano Ronaldo is alleged to be mounting pressure to get Al-Nassr to sign Casemiro from Manchester United which will go a long way to determining the stay of the Portuguese at the Saudi Pro League side.

Ronaldo, who is entering the last year of his record £175m per year deal with Adidas, is reported to be considering his options, which could include leaving.

Ronaldo and Casemiro have what it takes as they both have achieved 12 titles together with Real Madrid, which include four UEFA Champions League Cups, and two La Liga Cups, among others.

They both played together again for a season at Manchester United under Erik ten Hag and Ronaldo is now interested in having him join him in Saudi Arabia.

Ronaldo Is Pushing For Casemiro Signing At Al Nsssr

This transfer might be realistic because Manchester United are said to be willing to sell Casemiro among the reasons being to shave off his £350,000-a-week wages.

This would complement Al-Nassr’s objectives, and this comes at a time when other Saudi-based clubs, such as Al-Qadsiah and Al-Ittihad, have also shown interest in the Brazilian midfielder, who is 32 years of age.

Ronaldo’s pressure to bring Casemiro to Al Nassr is timely for the club, with Saudi authorities keen on ensuring their prized signing does not consider MLS.

However, Saudi chiefs continue to hope for an eventual renewal of Ronaldo, given that he has taken on a pivotal role in the kingdom’s football project.

Acquiring a player of such calibre as Casemiro could facilitate the improvement of the Al-Nassr team and, therefore, could become the stimulating factor for Ronaldo to stay in the team.

Though this one did not come off, the proposed transfer shows that Saudi clubs are no holds barred if they are to effectively capture the international football market and retain their star footballers. In the case of Ronaldo and Casemiro that could simply be an opportunity to recreate past success on another team.
