Vitor Roque Transfer News

The promising day at Barcelona turned into a negative experience when La Liga, along with the RFEF, implemented an agreement to stop Vitor Roque transfer process.

The Brazilian forward Vitor Roque would have generated Barcelona €25 million through Palmeiras acquisition and the club would have held onto 20% of his future transfer rights.

Legal issues halted the deal to the point where Barcelona received no benefit from expected financial gains.

Vitor Roque To Palmeiras Is Off

The decision of Spanish authorities forced Palmeiras to permanently cease all transfers with Roque after showing initial interest in acquiring him. The Brazilian outfit Palmeiras has taken the decision to completely sever relations with Barcelona and Real Betis according to SPORT.

Roque cannot return to Brazil because re-registering him with Barcelona violates multiple La Liga regulations when performing the move. The regulatory restriction has made Palmeiras surrender their pursuit of acquiring the forward during this month.

The loaning club Real Betis maintains limited capability to establish a loan agreement with Palmeiras since their possession of the player remains temporary.

The problematic situation confronts Barcelona. The club faced financial duress and depended on the transfer fee for relief yet suffered from a disappointing loss of this €25 million revenue stream.

The market value of Roque seems likely to decrease throughout the season which exposes Barcelona to an unfavorable deal in case they need to sell him at a later time.

The broken deal between Barcelona and Leicester City has hit the club simultaneously on their short-term financial planning and long-term regulatory compliance issues.

The club embarks on reassessing its plan to obtain financial gains through player transfers while complying with La Liga and RFEF regulatory guidelines.

Barcelona needs to uncover new financial routes while rearranging their player roster in a market that becomes more complicated by the day as a result of this blocked transfer.
