Alexander Isak Transfer News

Alexander Isak to Anfield? Liverpool will have to replace its ageing forwards in the coming years and after 2025, FSG might be planning to bring in a new star for Liverpool.

Still, the lineup at the moment makes fans ask questions about the strength and depth of the Premier League’s highest-scoring team this season.

The Liverpool forward Nunez has not been in great form while Jota has been more often out of play due to injuries. That is why, if Mohamed Salah does not stay in the club, Arne Slot may hear some voices in his head to sign a new competent centre-forward.

Newcastle United’s forward name, Alexander Isak has been coming up in the latest transfer rumours as wanted by Liverpool.

The Swedish international has been in excellent form for Newcastle, scoring 11 goals in the last 12 games and has been applauded by peers and analysts, the likes of Alan Shearer, who referred to him as superb.

However, Isak’s emergence has also attracted the attention of several clubs, with Liverpool also believed to be among the teams interested in the 25-year-old.

This will not mark the first time the player has been associated with Liverpool football club. He was first on their radar before they sealed a deal for Darwin Nunez and the Uruguayan star has nailed 37 goals in 119 outings. In contrast, Newcastle United’s forward has 47 goals in 86 games since coming to the team.

Does Alexander Isak Worth £150m ?

However, Newcastle have put a £150m price tag on Isak as a way of warding off Liverpool and other teams such as Arsenal, Chelsea and PSG.

Though the fee is in line with his current performance, it triggers profound thoughts as to whether the Swede is worth such a huge amount.

Of course, Isak can hardly be doubted in terms of talent and potential, but Liverpool should think of investing £150 million.

Historically, the Reds have always been financially prudent, and there may well be other players available in the transfer market at a slightly cheaper price.

Isak’s form makes him one of Europe’s most sought-after attackers and striker, but Liverpool could always look the other way as they try to construct a team capable of delivering consistent performances.

Currently, his price stands as the major obstacle that might prevent him from wearing the Liverpool shirt at Anfield.
