Saudi pro league club and current Neymar Junior‘s club Al-Hilal are strongly considering terminating the current contract of the Brazilian attacker after he suffered another hamstring injury on Monday.
Neymar’s time in Al-Hilal has mostly been plagued with injuries, which has kept him out of action for his Saudi team, there by not giving him enough playing time for him to help his Al-Hilal team on the pitch.
Neymar who recently got back into action after an elongated injury layoff will have to be off for a couple of weeks again with his most recent injury, of which the Al-Hilal clubs looks to be getting tired off and are therefore considering parting ways with the winger
Neymar came off in the 58th minute of Al Hilal’s 3-0 win against Esteghlal of Iran in their AFC Champions League Elite on Monday.
It was Neymar’s second appearance for his Al Hilal club following a long 12-month injury layoff.
Al-Hilal Interest In Mohamed Salah As A Likely Replacement For Neymar
Al Hilal are also currently looking to Liverpool’s talisman Mohamed Salah who is in his last few months of his Liverpool contract, and it doesn’t look likely that he will be renewing and so Al Hilal are currently monitoring the situation so they bring Salah to Al Hilal as a replacement for the always Injured Neymar.
Neymar’s contract will be expiring in the summer of 2025 but the Saudi pro league are already frustrated with his lack of action due to his injury troubles and are already looking to terminating his contract earlier than it should, maybe also trying to get off his huge wages bill off their table, as Neymar is also one of the highest paid football players.
Al Hilal are very keen in bringing in the 32 years old Mohamed Salah to Saudi pro league as Salah has over the years proved to the world that he is a world class players consistently for many years in Liverpool and he will definitely be a useful tool for Al Hilal for a couple more years before he maybe decides to finally hang his boots from professional football.
