Enzo Fernandez: Barcelona Ready to Trade Two Stars for €75m Chelsea’s Young Star

The formation of midfield at FC Barcelona has changed since the end of the previous season, hence in search for a player like Enzo Fernandez.

Players including İlkay Gündoğan who went back to Manchester City and Oriol Romeu transfer to his former team, Girona FC in the summer transfer window. These exits left manager Hansi Flick searching for new ways to fill the center of the park.

Barcelona Wants To Sign Enzo Fernandez

The Catalan outlet, Sport has revealed that Barcelona are interested in Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez, with the 23-year-old valued at €75million.

Chelsea signed the Argentine midfielder for €120 million two years ago and to lure him away from Chelsea would need a big money.

Financial problems, however, remain a big issue in Barcelona because most of these teams operate under strict financial policies.

Barcelona To Swap Two Players For Enzo

In order to overcome this barrier, Catalan club is claimed to be planning on fixing player-swap deal between Ferran Torres and Frenkie de Jong.

Barcelona face misery of losing De Jong: De Jong has not been at his best since returning from injury and was recently linked with a summer move away from the Camp Nou.

The same is the case with Ferran Torres, who has not been given too many chances this season and might be willing to move out of the Blaugrana.

That being the case should Barcelona secure Fernandez, the midfielder would add huge quality to Flick’s midfield.

Chelsea continues to resist letting go of such a player, and the financial structure of the operation only makes the situation more complicated.
