Real Madrid continues it’s poor run of form in the champions league and also in the Spanish Laliga which Barcelona are currently sitting on top on the Laliga table.

Real Madrid was thrashed 4-0 by Barcelona in the El clasico match which took place prior to the  Ballon D’or ceremony where Real Madrid’s winger Vinicius lost out on the individual award to Rodri of Manchester city.

Real Madrid’s woes continues into the champions league as AC Milan also thrashed the current champions league defending champions 3-1 which was done on Real Madrid’s home soil.

Information reaching 24transfernews says that Real Madrid are currently considering sacking Carlo Ancelotti if the results do not improve quickly, this goes to say that Don Carlo’s position in currently in danger.

Real Madrid club president Florentino Perez has come to a conclusion already on Carlo Ancelotti’s future, after a poor start to the Laliga season, which has put their arch rival Barcelona in pole position to win the Laliga title this season.

Even after finally acquiring Kylian Mbappe whom they have been after for a long time, and having a front three of Vinicius, Mbappe and Rodrygo, which every football fan would expect to cause havoc to any defense in football, Real Madrid haven’t really been able to cause so much havoc to defenses as expected.

Carlo Ancelotti who is on his second spell at Real Madrid, and has pretty much been successful in both spells before his recent woes even after lining up a squad full of world class players.

Carlo Ancelotti had his first spell in Real Madrid in 2013, and lifted the Champions league that same season before he was dismissed. Don Carlo came back to Real Madrid in 2021 for his second spell as Real Madrid head coach and has lifted the Champions league title twice.

Real Madrid are already looking out for a replacement for Carlo Ancelotti, and they are not looking too far away as they have a replacement on ground in Bayer Leverkusen current coach and former Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso.

Xabi Alonso has been very fantastic for Bayer Leverkusen since he took over at the German club, Xabi Alonso who helped Bayer Leverkusen lift their first ever Bundesliga title since their existence in the 2023/2024 football season, and also going unbeaten in the league was a season for Leverkusen that they will never forget.

Now Real Madrid will not let a manager like that slip out of their fingers, as they feel he should be able to do better with a Real Madrid squad filled with some of the best players in world football.

Xabi Alonso is under contract with Bayern Leverkusen until 2026, but can leave Bayer Leverkusen to either Real Madrid, Bayern Munich or Liverpool, due to a clause in his contract with Bayer Leverkusen.
