Liverpool Considers Karim Adeyemi And Omar Marmoush As Potential Long Term Replacements For Mo Salah

Liverpool and it’s new coach and manager Arne Slot are seriously on the lookout for a potential replacement for their Egyptian star winger, Mohamed Salah, who won’t be with them for too long due to his age, coupled with the fact that Mo Salah’s current contract with Liverpool terminates at the end of the 2024/2025 football season.

Potential replacements that Liverpool are looking at include Borrussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi and Frankfurt’s Omar Marmoush.

Getting a player to fill Mohamed Salah’s boots won’t be an easy task seeing what Mohamed Salah has achieved at Liverpool, most especially his consistency when it comes scoring goals season after season.

Mohamed Salah Joined Liverpool from AS Roma in 2017 for a fee of £36.9 million, and immediately hit the ground running, scoring a total of 32 goals in 38 games in his very first season at Liverpool, and going on to score a total of 218 goals in 362 matches.

Mohamed Salah also helped Liverpool lift the Champions league trophy and also the English premier league in 2020, including many other silverware. This makes Mohamed Salah’s shoes a big shoes to fill for any player coming to replace the Egyptian.

Omar Marmoush from Frankfurt who is also an Egyptian like Mohamed Salah, seems to me as a very good replacement for Mohamed Salah, and that’s not because he is Egyptian like Mo Salah, but because of his numbers in the 2024/2025 season already, Omar Marmoush has registered eight goals and four assists already to his name.

Karim Adeyemi on the other hand is another potential name being lined up by Liverpool also as a potential replacement for the Egyptian king. Adeyemi has registered a total of five goals and three assists in eight appearances so far this season, which is pretty good start to the season.

It is only a matter of time before who gets to see who the reds will finally go for as a replacement for Mohamed Salah.
