Al-Nassr Open New Contract Talk With Cristiano Ronaldo, As His Current Deal Ends This Summer

Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr has opened new contract talks with it’s highest paid player Cristiano Ronaldo. Cristiano Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr in January of 2023 in an unexpected move from his former premier league club of Manchester United, in a deal that made him the highest paid football player in the world, with a salary of $213 million (£173m) (€200m).

Cristiano Ronaldo’s current contract with Al-Nassr will expire in the summer of 2025, and Al-Nassr have already gotten into fresh contract talks with the Portuguese star man on extending his stay with the Saudi Arabian club.

Cristiano Ronaldo who seems to be working towards 2026 world cup in United States of America and Canada, which means he has to be actively playing football in other to be eligible and fit to participate in the 2026 FIFA world cup, which also means that he has to be in a club.

According to Italian football journalist Nicolo Schira, Al-Nassr are in talks with Ronaldo about extending his current contract with the Saudi pro league club, where he is expected to be in the run up to the 2026 world cup in the United States and Canada.

Ronaldo has raked up quite a very impressive performance for the Saudi pro league club with 64 goals from 71 appearances, with very impressive and consistent from Ronaldo and even at his age, this is something we have never seen from a player of his age.

Ronaldo who recently clocked 900 career goals in his career, will be looking to set more records as he is showing no signs of slowing down or even retiring anytime soon, so we should be expecting to see more action from the goat himself.
