Everton’s New Owners, The Friedkin Group, Eye Ex-Chelsea Boss Maurizio Sarri for Managerial Role

Everton football club which is currently moving towards a change of ownership, and The Friedkin group who are the potential new owners have already started making plans for the club in preparation for when the deal is completed.

The Friedkin Group who are also the current owners of AS Roma, have agreed on a deal with current Everton’s majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri to acquire his 94.1% controlling stake in the club.

One of the first things the Friedkin Group looks to change once the takeover is complete is to replace current Everton manager Sean Dyche with former Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri.

Current Everton manager Sean Dyche has come under heat and pressure for their poor start to the new season with just one point picked up from their first five opening matches, raising fears of another potential relegation battle for the club.

Maurizio Sarri who has managed a whole lot clubs, including Chelsea, where he won the UEFA Europa League in 2019, after Chelsea beat Arsenal 4-1 in the Europa League final in Baku.

Maurizio Sarri is seen by the potential new owners of Everton as the best fit for the Everton job, if current manager Sean Dyche is unable to turn around the situation in Everton as regards their current results.
