Bayern Munich have started early preparations for upcoming transfer windows, though major business is not expected in January.
According to reports, the German champions will instead focus on groundwork for next summer’s deals, with Vincent Kompany and the club’s hierarchy satisfied with their summer additions.
Luis Díaz and Jonathan Tah have settled quickly into life at the Allianz Arena, while teenage talent Tom Bischof has impressed in limited appearances. However, one signing yet to convince is Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson, who joined from Chelsea on deadline day.
Nicolas Jackson mixed start draws Everton’s attention
Jackson has endured a slow start in Bavaria, netting only two goals in ten appearances. While Kompany continues to express faith in the forward’s potential, his inconsistent form has raised questions about a long-term stay.

According to Football Insider, Everton are closely monitoring his situation and are open to making a move in January should Bayern decide to cut ties.
The report adds that Bayern are unlikely to make Jackson’s loan permanent next summer, despite previously exploring a discounted fee. The club paid around €15 million for his loan and are thought to have no break clause, making a mid-season exit improbable.
Kompany’s faith and the road ahead
Despite external doubts, Kompany remains supportive of the 25-year-old. The Belgian tactician believes Jackson’s off-the-ball work and positional versatility have already benefited the team. He has primarily operated as a backup to Harry Kane, occasionally partnering the England captain when Bayern switch formations.
Kane’s outstanding form has limited Jackson’s minutes, but with fixture congestion and injuries inevitable, Kompany expects the forward to play a crucial role in the coming months. Bayern’s manager has emphasized squad unity and patience, suggesting no drastic moves will occur before summer.
While Jackson’s long-term future appears uncertain, his short-term task is clear—prove his worth and regain confidence as Bayern chase silverware across multiple competitions.
