Will Arsenal Pull Off The Signing Of Benjamin Sesko?

It was only recently that Šeško’s agent stopped short when asked if Arsenal had been in touch only, adding that Leipzig is very reluctant to let go of its budding star mid-season.

Nonetheless, according to The Sun, Arsenal intend to make a £70m bid or to loan Šeško until the summer to put Leipzig to the test concerning the intention to hold on to the player.

With Leipzig coach Marco Rose, Šeško has become one of the most impressive talents in Europe. The young striker has scored 13 goals and made three assists in the 25 matches and has scored 8 Bundesliga matches this season.

More recently, he has been among the most prolific of strikers, scoring in the last five league matches and getting on the score sheet during the 2-1 defeat by Stuttgart.

To Arsenal, Benjamin Sesko offers the much-needed aerial prowess and goal-scoring ability which will push for the starting role following Jesus’ exit.

Although it may prove tough to execute in January, the Slovenian will definitely fancy interests next summer if he plays on for Leipzig for the remainder of the campaign.

However, Arsenal has little time remaining before the January 31st deadline to weigh if Šeško is indeed their man, or work on other targets as they seek to bolster their attacking arsenal for the title push.
