Randal Kolo Muani Transfer News

Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani is expected to move to Juventus on loan, having turned down Manchester United and Tottenham.

The 26-year-old French international has been in and out of the PSG first team under Luis Enrique in the current season.

Since Kolo Muani signed for €75 million (£64.2m) plus €15 million (£12.2m) in add-ons from Eintracht Frankfurt last year, he has started only two Ligue 1 games, and conflicting rumours surround him.

Manchester United, as well as Tottenham, had both been considering Kolo Muani as a possible signing for the just opened January transfer period.

United are already looking at potential reinforcements as Marcus Rashford is reportedly interested in leaving Old Trafford, while Spurs are looking for a new striker under the stewardship of new manager Ange Postecoglou.

Randal Kolo Muani To Juventus Is Done

In any case, RMC Sport reported that by the end of the season, Kolo Muani will join Juventus. The Italian club negotiated with PSG for a deal that would involve a loan deal till the end of the season.

Most notably, the contractual terms do not entail a repurchase right, in other words – the forward is planned to return to Paris during the summertime.

Kolo Muani is expected to undergo a medical checkup in Turin on Wednesday to put the final touch on the deal. His decision is going to be a disheartening one for Manchester United and Tottenham who had pinned their hopes on signing him to add to their teams.

However, before the transfer took place, Kolo Muani had proclaimed himself ready to battle for a spot in PSG. In November, when asked questions about his intentions to leave, he said, “No, that was not on my mind.”

This transfer window will now likely be the chance for the Frenchman to try and find immediate success in Serie A and United and Spurs will need to look elsewhere as the January window continues.
