Barcelona And Real Madrid Set For Transfer Battle Over Inter Milan Star Marcus Thuram

Both the Catalan club and the Madrid giants are said to be picking interest in the 27-year-old French international Marcus Thuram who plays for Inter Milan at the moment.

Local newspaper Inter Live claims Thuram is now a hot cake following a splendid stint in Serie A. He has a release clause of €85 million in his contract; Barcelona might consider negotiating a swap deal by adding Ronald Araujo or Ansu Fati to the deal.

Thuram shocked the world by joining Inter Milan from Borussia Monchengladbach as a free agent in the summer of 2023; he has now become a revelation in series A.

The French forward has more than delivered, having 19 goals contribution in 21 games this season scoring 13 goals and assisting in six in all competitions. These performances have made him among the most sought-after players in European football.
