Randal Kolo Muani Transfer News

Randal Kolo Muani seems heavily linked for a Premier League move in the next January transfer window, with Liverpool and Tottenham now reportedly favoured ahead of Manchester United.

The French striker was signed from Eintracht Frankfurt to Paris Saint-Germain in January for a record €75 million plus €15 million in variables in 2023, but he has become a temporary figure in Luis Enrique’s squad and will surely move on.

Liverpool, Tottenham, and Manchester United all have different reasons for chasing the 26-year-old. Liverpool needs additions to be more competitive in the struggle for the Premier League title.

Tottenham and Manchester United need to turn around their worst campaigns in years. The player’s availability fits the goal, but a potential move has strings attached to it, as PSG is said to want a six-month loan deal with an obligation to buy, not an option.

Manchester United Is Out Of Race For Randal Kolo Muani

Florian Plettenberg from Sky Germany claims that Manchester United is out of the race for Kolo Muani leaving Liverpool and Tottenham in the race.

It has been apparent that Tottenham needs a new forward after Kane left the team. Arne Slot’s squad currently has attacking talents such as Diogo Jota, Darwin Nunez, and Luis Diaz, who has been playing as a striker in recent games.

Kolo Muani is still in high demand, although he is currently facing some difficulties. The French forward has been useful for Didier Deschamps and his team, as he scored 6 goals and played 14 matches for France in 2024.

Nevertheless, at PSG, the striker has been left out in the cold barely featuring in the first team, making only 350 minutes in Ligue 1 in the current campaign.

Marco Asensio, Gonçalo Ramos and Ousmane Dembélé have all been chosen in this role, while Kolo Muani’s last league start was in early October.

With PSG being open to letting him go, Kolo Muani is both a very interesting and potentially high-risk prospect for potential Premier League buyers.

It makes lots of sense to move to Tottenham, but Liverpool’s involvement might just complicate this January transfer window story.
