Forward Victor Boniface prepares to sign a €60 million agreement with Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia which positions him below only Kai Havertz in Bayer Leverkusen’s most valuable player sales since Havertz’s €80 million Chelsea transfer in 2020.
Medical examinations have been completed, and sources suggest Victor Boniface will enter a Saudi Arabian contract, including a €15 million year-standard payment, according to Sky Germany.
Boniface’s official transfer verification remains pending even though the deal may finalize before this week’s transfer deadline approaches.
Boniface’s latest transfer ends an 18-month period spent in Germany, which began when Leverkusen acquired him from Union Saint-Gilloise for €21.7 million in July 2022.
Die Werkself fans have witnessed the 24-year-old player impress through 49 professional matches as he scored 29 goals and made 11 assists despite his injury-related limitations.
Leverkusen must address their offensive vacancy since Boniface has left the team. The Bundesliga champions continue to build up their team despite not searching for a single direct substitute.
Emil Buendía has become a major loan target whose proposed agreement includes a possible purchase agreement.
Leverkusen has added Brighton’s promising forward Evan Ferguson to their scouting list while the club looks for new attacking players at its disposal.
When Boniface starts his new chapter in Saudi Arabia Leverkusen plans to bolster their attacking performance during their championship run.
