Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly preparing a €60 million offer for Al Ahli striker Ivan Toney as Thomas Frank looks to add firepower in January.
After a summer of heavy spending on attackers such as Mathys Tel, Xavi Simons, Mohammed Kudus, and Randal Kolo Muani, Spurs are still searching for a proven No.9.
Their need became even clearer following a 2-1 home defeat to Aston Villa — their second Premier League loss of the season — exposing a lack of depth and clinical finishing.
With Dominic Solanke sidelined after ankle surgery, the club are eager to find a short-term solution that can deliver goals immediately.
Ivan Toney on Tottenham’s Radar
According to Fichajes, Tottenham are ready to test Al Ahli’s resolve with a €60 million bid. Chelsea are also monitoring the 29-year-old, but Toney’s preference reportedly leans toward a Premier League return.

Frank himself did not rule out the possibility of reuniting with his former Brentford striker, praising his “proven goal-scoring record and experience.”
Toney joined Al Ahli from Brentford in 2024 for £40 million and quickly became one of the Saudi Pro League’s standout performers, scoring 30 goals last season.
He has continued his fine form into the current campaign, making him a prime target for Premier League clubs seeking reliability in front of goal.
While Al Ahli would demand a significant profit if they were to sell, Tottenham’s growing ambition under Frank could make them one of the few clubs capable of meeting the asking price. With a winter move on the cards, Ivan Toney could soon be leading the line for Spurs in their push to return to the top.
