Premier League Rivals Arsenal And Manchester United Battle For AC Milan Star Rafael Leao in High-Stakes Transfer Race

There are latest reports that Manchester United and Arsenal are interested in signing AC Milan’s attacker Rafael Leao.
The 26-year-old Portuguese international striker, considered by many to be amongst the best attackers presently in the Serie A, is reported to be on the lips of several clubs as he is believed to be keen on a change of fortune away from the San Siro.
Manchester United, requires reinforcements in the flank, especially on the left side of the team squad. Marcus Rashford, for instance, has lost his initial form and is yet to fit well into the tactical changes introduced by a new coach, Ruben Amorim, and might be sold.
At United, Garnacho is one of the most promising youngsters, but he has underperformed as of late. If Rashford leaves either in January or next summer, United will need a player like Leao to come in and cover for him.
But Arsenal are also firmly in the running. The two key players that Arsenal has right now are Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard however, these two stars have been off form most of this season. The Gunners seem to keen on boosting their forward line and Leao could be the ignite that they are searching for.
Rafael Leao Is Cherished By AC Milan
Currently, AC Milan remains adamant about retaining their star, who penned a new deal with the club in January that will see him remain at San Siro until 2028.
The Rossoneri are very unlikely to let Leao go unless a big money offer convinces them otherwise. The website Transfermarkt currently rates the player at €62 million, and it may cost a much higher sum for Milan to sell the player.
The competition doesn’t stop here, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona football clubs are the other teams interested in Leao.
The 24-year-old, according to media sources, wants to move to La Liga and may force through a transfer to Spain. Premier League clubs could capitalise if a bidding war takes place because of Barcelona’s current financial issues.
Leao continues to move tirelessly, is strong, and navigates intricate spaces as a strength in his attacking strategy. He is also a great finisher, and his creativity has been the hallmark of Milan’s recent triumphs, including the Scudetto.
Whichever club it might be, either Arsenal, Manchester United or any other big club in Europe, this is a very big boost to any side that wants to add Rafael Leao’s strength to its front line.
