Manchester United are reportedly considering a shock move for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jobe Bellingham ahead of the January transfer window.
The 20-year-old, younger brother of Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham, has endured a difficult start to life in Germany since joining from Sunderland in a £25 million deal last summer.
Despite high expectations, Bellingham has struggled for minutes under Dortmund boss Edin Terzić, failing to score in 11 appearances and managing only two Bundesliga starts so far.
His lack of game time has sparked speculation over a possible short-term exit, especially with tension brewing behind the scenes.
Family tension and United’s growing interest
Reports suggest a rift has emerged between Jobe’s father, Mark Bellingham, and Dortmund’s sporting director, Sebastian Kehl.

The fallout reportedly began after Mark criticised his son’s early substitution on his Bundesliga debut — a move that drew public backlash, including criticism from England legend Geoff Hurst.
The uneasy atmosphere has put Jobe’s future in doubt, and Manchester United are watching closely.
Manager Ruben Amorim is believed to be an admirer of the young midfielder and could push for a loan deal in January to bolster his squad depth.
Amorim’s transfer plans
With limited funds following a heavy summer outlay, Amorim is targeting affordable reinforcements.
Alongside Bellingham, United are also exploring a potential loan for Atletico Madrid midfielder Conor Gallagher, who is struggling for regular minutes in Spain.
For Jobe Bellingham, a Premier League return could provide a timely opportunity to rebuild confidence and rediscover form. However, Dortmund remain hopeful he will fight for his place and fulfil his potential in the Bundesliga.
The coming weeks will be crucial in determining whether United’s interest turns into a formal approach — or if Bellingham chooses to stay and prove himself in Germany.
