Rayan Transfer News

Manchester United are reportedly preparing to open formal talks with Vasco da Gama over a move for teenage winger Rayan, according to Bolavip. The 19-year-old has enjoyed a breakout campaign in Brazil, scoring 16 goals and adding one assist in 48 appearances across all competitions.

United scouts have been closely monitoring his progress, and reports suggest the club are now strong contenders to secure his signature ahead of the January transfer window.

The Red Devils view Rayan as one of South America’s most promising young attackers and a player capable of adapting quickly to the physical demands of Premier League football.

Dynamic, versatile, and Premier League-ready

Rayan has primarily featured as a right winger for Vasco da Gama but has recently shown his versatility by excelling as a centre-forward, scoring in back-to-back matches in that role. His speed, strength, and left-footed precision have made him a consistent threat in the final third.

Beyond his attacking contributions, Rayan has also impressed with his defensive work rate, averaging more than three ground duels and nearly two aerial duels won per match.

His willingness to track back and engage in tackles has strengthened his reputation as a complete wide player.

Vasco da Gama are open to selling Rayan for around £26 million and could accept a structured deal with add-ons.

With his contract set to expire in December 2026, the Brazilian club are keen to either extend his deal or cash in during the winter window to avoid losing value next summer.

For Manchester United, who have focused heavily on youth recruitment under Ineos, Rayan represents another long-term investment in talent. If negotiations advance as expected, he could become the next South American prospect to make the leap to Old Trafford.
