Jobe Bellingham Transfer News

Two Premier League clubs — Manchester United and Crystal Palace — are keeping a close eye on Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jobe Bellingham amid growing concerns over his lack of playing time.

According to Bild, the 20-year-old has grown frustrated with his limited role under new coach Niko Kovač, having started just a handful of games since his move from Sunderland.

Bellingham, one of Dortmund’s most promising young signings, has struggled to cement a place in a midfield packed with experienced options.

Despite his talent and strong performances in training, he has mainly featured from the bench, leading to speculation that a January move could be on the horizon if his situation fails to improve.

Frustration Growing as Premier League Interest Builds

Reports from CaughtOffside suggest that Bellingham’s frustration has reached a point where “a winter move can no longer be ruled out.”

Though he remains under contract with Dortmund until 2030, the midfielder is believed to be exploring his options should opportunities continue to be limited.

Manchester United and Crystal Palace are said to be “positioning themselves” to make a move if Bellingham becomes available.

United’s manager Ruben Amorim is reportedly a big admirer of the young Englishman’s power, intelligence, and composure, with sources close to the club claiming Amorim “is a fan of the mini-Bellingham.”

Palace, on the other hand, see him as a high-upside signing who could thrive under Oliver Glasner’s system and add dynamism to their midfield.

Dortmund Maintain Calm and Confidence

Despite the mounting speculation, Borussia Dortmund are not panicking. The club’s sporting director Sebastian Kehl, along with academy head Lars Ricken and coach Kovač, reportedly have no plans to sanction a sale.

They continue to see Bellingham as a long-term investment and believe his adaptation to the Bundesliga will improve with time and experience.

Insiders within the club maintain that Bellingham’s talent and mentality remain unquestioned.

They expect him to play a more prominent role as the season progresses, particularly once he gains more confidence in Dortmund’s high-intensity system.

January Window Could Be Crucial For Jobe Bellingham

While Dortmund’s stance remains firm for now, the next few months could prove decisive. If Bellingham’s playing time doesn’t increase, both Manchester United and Crystal Palace are prepared to test Dortmund’s resolve with offers in January.

For Bellingham, the coming weeks will be critical in determining whether his future lies in Germany — where patience could eventually pay off — or back in England, where a Premier League return could reignite his development and open a new chapter in his promising career.
