Omar Marmoush Transfer News

This summer, Manchester City officially approached Eintracht Frankfurt to have a confirmation on signing Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush, who has drawn significant interest among Arsenal, Tottenham, and Liverpool, and will take place next summer.

The 25-year-old has also been one of the best performers of the German Bundesliga this season contributing significantly to the overall performance of Eintracht Frankfurt.

Omar Marmoush has 21 goal contributions in 15 league games meaning he is a crucial part of the team’s attacking force.

His form has also taken him to Europe, where he has proved a point by scoring four goals in six-match appearances in the Europa League’s group stage.

English Premier League clubs have also not been left behind to sit and watch Marmoush produce energetic performances which are likened to Mohamed Salah.

The three clubs that have been under close watch on his situation include Arsenal, Liverpool, and Tottenham, but Manchester City seems to be headlining the list.

Foot Mercato says that Pep Guardiola’s team has made the first approach with a bid and has even opened negotiations with Marmoush’s agents. An insider has reported that the player is considering the project that the current Premier League champions, have in store for him.

City’s interest in Omar Marmoush comes at a time when they are keen on refreshing the team after a poor season that saw mixed results.

Marmoush’s pace, work rate and goal-scoring prowess will certainly appeal to Pep Guardiola, especially given that Manchester City will be entering next season in an attempt to retain its domestic and European titles.

In this ever-heated race of the transfer season, all eyes will be on Marmoush and his decision because that will influence the future decisions of several clubs.
