Dean Huijsen Transfer News

The right to sign Bournemouth Centre defender Dean Huijsen comes at an upfront cost of £50 million starting from summer 2025 according to Fabrizio Romano.

The outstanding playing form of the Spanish Dean Huijsen this season has attracted major European clubs to show interest in his services, including Arsenal, according to reports.

The December report by AS writer David Alonso confirmed that Manchester United and Arsenal were exploring Huijsen’s contractual details although he stressed that both clubs stayed unofficially in contact with Chilena Sport.

The Spanish team of Real Madrid are said to have made an offer for the player. The potential major defensive signing remains uncertain for Arsenal this summer because the club continues its strategic focus on squad strengthening in different departments.

The rumour mill about Real Madrid wanting to acquire William Saliba might have led Arsenal to take this precautionary measure. The Gunners intend to capitalize on opportunities when one of their important defensive players becomes available for an expensive transfer.

This season Huijsen has impressed Bournemouth fans by playing 22 Premier League matches and scoring twice while showing consistent defensive performance.

Through his impressive performances, Bournemouth has reached the fifth-place spot in the league, indicating his substantial worth to the team.

The Arsenal team values maintaining current defensive talents Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes by extending their contracts but aims to use their budget to recruit further footballers in attack together with midfielders and goalie backup.

Huijsen represents a potential acquisition for Arsenal because of his £50 million release clause that might prove appealing if their defensive core leaves.
