Bayern Munich have reportedly opened discussions over a potential 2026 move for Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi, in a development that could see them beat Liverpool to his signature after narrowly missing out in the summer.

Liverpool came close to signing the 25-year-old on transfer deadline day, but the deal collapsed when Crystal Palace failed to secure a replacement in time.

Despite the late setback, Guehi handled the situation professionally and has continued to impress for both club and country since.

That’s my mindset, and if you adopt that mindset in most things, you just get on with life and move on. Fortunately for me I’m at a football club that has helped me and given me so much. So it does make it that much easier.”

If Bayern do secure his signature, Guehi would join a squad already featuring familiar faces such as former Palace teammate Michael Olise and England captain Harry Kane.
