Barcelona Secure Malian Wonderkid Ibrahim Diarra In €1.7 Million Deal

Barcelona have confirmed that they signed the young Malian wonderkid Ibrahim Diarra, who was previously linked to joining Arsenal, he is to start his initial year with Barcelona through the Barca Atletic team.

The Spanish-based football team officially announced the transfer on Tuesday, and it is yet another part of the slowly implemented policy of the team to bring in young talents from across the world.

Ibrahim Diarra, a product of Africa Foot Academy, is undoubtedly one of the most promising young talents ever to have sprung from the crowned jewel of soccer, Africa.

AFC received €1.7 million from Barcelona for Diarra’s services, and this could turn out a mere peanuts for Barcelona if such talent brings out the best in his youthful prime.

The Athletic reported that Diarra has been training with Barca Atletic, and there are expectations for him to rise to the first team.

As he will hold the ability to transform the reserves into champions, Barcelona has entrusted Diarra with the same conviction that he will be the next name in the list of academy youngsters who already have their pegs in the first team.
