Liverpool are reportedly keeping a close eye on Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo, who has emerged as one of the standout performers in the Premier League this season.
According to the Daily Mail, the Cherries have placed a hefty £75 million ($100 million) valuation on the Ghanaian forward, who has been in blistering form under Andoni Iraola.
Antoine Semenyo Rise and Bournemouth’s Stance
The 25-year-old has been a revelation this term, netting six goals and providing three assists in just a handful of games.
His blend of pace, power, and directness has made him one of the most difficult wide players to defend against.

Semenyo’s performances have caught the attention of several top clubs, including Liverpool, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur.
Bournemouth, however, are under no financial pressure to sell. The club recently earned significant transfer fees from the departures of Dean Huijsen, Iliya Zubarnyi, and Milos Kerkez—who joined Liverpool for around £40 million.
Despite this, the Cherries acknowledge that a move could materialise if a top side meets their valuation.
Why Liverpool Are Interested
Semenyo’s versatility is one of his biggest assets. Comfortable on both flanks, he could offer valuable cover for Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo.
His brace against Liverpool on the opening day of the season left a strong impression on the Reds’ hierarchy, showcasing his ability to thrive against elite opposition.
Under Arne Slot, a high-pressing forward like Semenyo would fit seamlessly. Statistically, no player in the league has recovered possession in the final third more frequently this season, making him a perfect candidate for Slot’s aggressive system.
In addition, Semenyo’s two-footed ability—71 shots with his left and 62 with his right over the past two seasons—adds unpredictability to his game.
Given Salah’s uncertain form and future, Liverpool could view Semenyo as both short-term competition and a long-term successor on the right wing.
For now, Bournemouth remain firm on their asking price, but if Semenyo maintains his current trajectory, a Premier League giant may soon test their resolve.
