Aston Villa secured Chelsea center-back Axel Disasi through a loan agreement which cost them approximately £5 million despite lacking any terms regarding a future purchase.

The French international Axel Disasi decided to sign with Aston Villa instead of Tottenham Hotspur’s loan offer before Chelsea finally accepted his transfer despite their initial reluctance.

At Stamford Bridge, Disasi faced an uncertain professional situation after Chelsea omitted him from their West Ham United squad the previous Monday evening.

The club’s current strategy includes deepening its player bench and setting Europa League promotion as its main goal. Rashford’s loan contract presents Villa with the choice to adopt a permanent status this summer at £40 million with PSG willing to extend Asensio’s loan another season.
